Covid-19 information?
www.covid19.govt.nz is the first place you should go for official information. Here you’ll find the latest Government updates, info on the disease itself, how to protect yourself, information for communities and other resources. If you feel unwell, please stay home and do not join the in-person yoga event.
Cancer Society will be following all COVID rules and guidelines in order to keep you, our staff and our volunteers safe.
Do I need to be vaccinated to join?
As of the 4th of April, the Government no longer requires us to check vaccine passes. However, the Cancer Society and our venue will continue to follow Government guidelines which are subject to change. If the guidelines do change, your Cancer Society team will be in touch.
Hosting Your Own Yoga Event

How long will I have to host my own event?
You are welcome to host your event any time on any day from the 18th June when the live stream of the yoga is available until the 3rd July when the stream will be removed.
How long will the live steam be available for?
The live stream will be available for two weeks after the Saturday the 18th June.
Is the $25 package per person?
No, the $25 pays for the stream for you to host your own yoga event. We will send you a group package for you and your group. You can have as many people attend your event as you like. The more the merrier and the more potential fundraising for Cancer Society.
Fundraising
What should my fundraising goal be?
Your fundraising goal is totally up to you! Every cent counts when it comes to ensuring New Zealanders with cancer will never have to face the journey alone. However, using our donation guides is a great tool to guide people.
It costs just $150 to make a significant contribution to vital prevention and treatment research and $107 to provide accommodation to those who need to receive treatment far from home. How many nights can you and your Day of Yoga guests donate?
How do my group make donations?
Please get your group to donate to your fundraising page. You can send them your page via social media so others may donate too. Or just email them your fundraising page to donate to.
If guests wish to register to join your event on the website, they will also receive a page they can use to fundraise through as well.
